BiRDS Pharma GmbH uses its process and technology platforms to advance own drug development projects for a variety of indications. Most of the projects are based on Atomic Substitution Technology and covered by patents/patent applications generated within the BDD/CDRD Group, with BiRDS Pharma GmbH either being the holder of the patent/patent application or the exclusive licensee with right to sublicense. Altogether, BiRDS Pharma GmbH's drug development projects are protected by more than 100 patents/patent applications covering the new deuterated active pharmaceutical ingredients and/or their use and/or specific pharmaceutical formulations thereof. Besides taking the most promising drug development candidates to later stages of development, BiRDS Pharma GmbH continuously identifies and validates new candidates for application of Atomic Substitution Technology.
